User Permissions by Tracking Category

It would be amazing if we were able to provide access to our department owners (managers) and restrict what they can see. Currently user permissions can only be limited by company, but our managers operate across companies. Their access needs to be restricted to tracking category (like profit centre). 


This would allow them to log in and see all financial and potentially non-financial data that is relevant to their assigned tracking categories (profit centres). Ideally, we should be able to assign multiple tracking categories under permissions, rather than limiting to just one. 


They should then be able to run their own reports, drill down, etc, but always limiting their view of data to what has been assigned to them under permissions. 


I understand that this may have complications in that a balance sheet might not balance, but you could always add a disclaimer if that is the case (I think the system already caters for this due to eliminations)
