Permissions  


In order to carry out the process of transferring/changing ownership of your Joiin account you will need to have the right permissions. Only 'Admins' of the Joiin account will have permission to go into the Plan & Billing page. 


Additionally, the ownership of the account cannot be transferred unless the new owner has already been invited to Joiin and has ADMIN-level permissions. 


(User permissions can be set by clicking the Settings Cog and then selecting User Management).

To transfer the ownership of a Joiin account, follow these steps:


    1. Click on the Person Icon in the top right corner.


    2. Click on the Plan & Billing option from the drop-down.


    3. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see a red button labelled Transfer Ownership (As shown below).


   

    4. Click the Transfer Ownership button


    5. Click on the Email Address of the user that you would like to transfer ownership to.


    6. Select the Yes, transfer option to confirm the action


   



If your current account owner is not contactable, and you need to transfer the ownership of your account/ access your account, please ask someone with access to your account to invite you.
