You can quickly update the filters on any Saved Report to refine the data you see. Follow these steps to adjust your report filters in Saved Reports.

Top tip: Use 'Dynamic Dates' to ensure the latest reporting dates are always included in your reports.

NOTE: In the latest version of Joiin, which is currently being rolled out, a Saved Report opens on the report page: change the report filters there and click Save. See Saving and Customising Reports.

To change your report filters on a Saved Report:

1. Navigate to the My Reports & Packs section. You can choose All, Saved Reports or Report Packs to filter the list.

2. Select the Saved Report you wish to edit. It opens on the report page, with a Saved Report label next to its name.

3. Change the report filters at the top of the report: Companies, Currency, Report period and Eliminations.

Everything else works as it does on any report, including Columns, Layout, Export and AI.

4. Unsaved changes appears next to the report name and the Save button turns blue. Click Save to keep your new filters, or Discard to go back to the Saved Report as it was last saved.

NOTE: Unsaved changes are kept for each Saved Report until you save or discard them, so you can come back to a report later and pick up where you left off.

The arrow next to Save lets you choose Save as new report… if you would rather keep the original and save your new filters as a copy, along with Rename, Colours, and the Report Pack options.

Switching between your Saved Reports

Click the report's name at the top left to switch reports. The report you last used is listed first, with your Saved Reports below it. Under each Saved Report, you can see whether it is Private, Shared, Scheduled or View only. You can search the list, and clicking My Reports & Packs at the bottom opens the full list.

Saved Reports that use Custom Columns

With Custom Columns, each column has its own dates, so the report no longer has a single report period. On a Saved Report that uses Custom Columns, the Report period button shows Custom columns. Click it, and you have two choices:

  • Edit columns to open the Columns editor, where each column has its own dates, companies, category and eliminations.

  • Remove custom columns… to go back to one report period for the whole report.

Your columns are saved with the report in the same way as your filters, so click Save once you are happy with them. For more on building columns, see Custom Columns (Beta).

NOTE: Unsaved changes are kept for each Saved Report until you save or discard them, so you can come back to a report later and pick up where you left off.
