NOTE: This article refers to Layouts which are only available in the latest version of Joiin. Layouts replace Custom Reports in the latest version - if you're on the old version you may want to look at this article.
This article demonstrates how to remove specific accounts or groups of accounts from specific reports.
For removing items relating to intercompany transactions, please see a guide for Joiin's Intercompany Elimination feature here.
Hiding Groups of Accounts
To hide a group of accounts on a report layout, please complete the following:
1. Run the report you would like to customise via the left side toolbar
2. Click the Report Layout box in the top left corner of the report
3. Either select Create or Edit to access the editing page for the Layout
4. Click the 3 Dot Menu shown beside the name of a group and select Edit from the drop down menu
5. Use the Tick Boxes provided to enable the Hide Group option
6. Select Accept at the bottom of the group editing box and then Save at the bottom of the report layout to save these changes
If you would like to instead remove only specific accounts from your report, this can be done by creating a new group and moving the relevant accounts into the new grouping. The steps above can then be used to hide that grouping.
A guide for creating new groups can be found here and a guide for moving or copying accounts between groups can be found here
