It may be the case that you need to change the way Joiin handles some of your accounts, switching them between credits or debits being treated as positive/ negative.

To do this:
1. Go to your desired custom report and select edit on the right-hand side of the report
2. Choose the group of accounts you wish to reclassify and select the Three dot menu on the right of this group, again selecting edit
3. From the box that appears on the right of your screen, choose how Joiin handles your group of accounts
