I recently discovered Joiin as I am looking to switch from DataDear as its connection with Xero is coming to an end.
Has anyone had experience setting up budgets for specific categories with Joiin? I need to create a budget for one business unit, this information is not yet in Xero. Should I add it to Xero first?

Yes, you should add this data to Xero first. Joiin will import all tracking category data and budgets that are saved in Xero. Please also refresh your companies in Joiin to ensure that the changes you make are brought into Joiin.
